Germany’s capital with more than 3,4 million inhabitants is not only the biggest city of the republic, but as well the destination to many creative people, company founders (business men), young people and tourists. Each year about 11.3 million visitors want to experience the “Flair” of the once divided city. Although the Berlin-Wall nowadays is only a sight of Berlin, for instance at the Eastside Gallery between Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain, Berlin still shows the contrasts between east and west, which contributes to its flair. Who is rather seeking a quieter area can explore the several green spots Berlin has to offer to have a break of the pulsating city. The Tiergarten or the “Volkspark” in Friedrichshain are perfect spots to relax.
The Friedrichstraße on the other hand with all its boutiques is ideal to go shopping as well as the Kastanienallee with a lot of young designer stores and the best Cafés of the city, the newly opened “Bikini Berlin” and the Kurfürstendamm with the world famous “KaDeWe”. Especially in summer these places are full of people and always worth another visit.
In addition, Berlin is also one of the world capitals when it comes to partying. Around midnight on the weekend thousands of people are walking through the streets of Berlin, heading for the hottest clubs.
When it comes to event locations, there is nothing, Berlin does not offer. The young metropolis is characterized by a potpourri of venues, which can be rented for various occasions. Couples can marry and celebrate on boats directly on the “Spree”, churches for example are available for an art openings and fashion shows. Empty houses of which you can literally breath in the history, are providing the perfect scenery for special celebrations or shootings. Art Nouveau (“Jugendstil”) villas provide the perfect setting for large family gatherings and large outdoor areas with their lush lawns they are the perfect place for corporate events like big summer festivals with hundreds of guests. For exclusive celebrations there are as well many smaller bars or the hottest clubs of the city.
Especially the hotels in the city are specialized in hosting celebrations, meetings and conventions and are always willing to help out, whenever help is needed.
Because of all these features Berlin is a dream-destination to a lot of event-managers. It has various established professional locations with high-end equipment and hidden pearls, which are waiting to be discovered and to add an individual charm to each event and make it unique.
