Soeht 7 - Evil girl cell – Venue description

The evil girl cell is located on the first floor and was used, as the name indicates, for the particularly evil girls of the former law enforcement institute Lichterfelde. The approximately 6 m² cell is equipped with a bed, its own toilet and sink. A small window with grid bars provides light. Additional grid bars inside lead to a special vibe. The theme cell is particularly suitable for photo shootings and video shots. George Clooney has also shot here. Spotlights and equipment can be booked externally. The location is also used as a space for fantasy and (role)play. Architecture & history The prison was built at the beginning of the 20th century. Following the Renaissance, the prison was built in a more aesthetic and human-friendly way than it was usual for a prison at the time. The vaulted corridors, round arched passages, larger windows and floral patterns give the place a special charm that stands out from the purely oppressive prison feeling. After the last inmates were moved in 2010, the monument-protected prison was once empty, until 2016 the large key bund for entrance and cellars came into new hands. In the sense of art, a cultural creative place has been created here, in which artists, musicians and art enthusiasts are united. We would like to invite you to see this location live. We are looking forward to your request! SOEHT 7 - Former Women's Prison - Local area description The Soeht 7 is located in Soehtstr. 7, a special place in Lichterfelde-West, in the south of Berlin. Embedded in the bourgeois surroundings, the former women's prison is located in a traffic-calmed street. The district of Lichterfelde is a quiet residential district near the Botanical Garden and the Freie Universität Berlin. The Kurfürstendamm, one of the biggest shopping areas in Berlin, is only 7 km away. ATTENTION: Due to conditions concerning building supervision events with children/teenagers are not allowed.
